Marlece “Marti” (Mildon) Dyer, 69, of Stevensville, MI passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 peacefully at home in Stevensville.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Tom Bird officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Save the Pets, Autism Speaks or the donor’s choice. Marti was born October 16, 1952 in Ogden, UT to Keith & Lois (Ansley) Mildon. On June 21, 1997 she married Kent Dyer in Dayton, OH. Marti was the owner of A Better Choice for 15 years where she helped plan weddings and floral arrangements. Marti also held many waitress jobs over the years, providing fine dining experience in order to raise her three children. She was a child of God and a believer in Christ. She enjoyed art and had a great sense of creativity.
Marti is survived by her husband Kent Dyer; mother Lois Mildon; children Steven (Shawna) Clary, Paul (Tracey) Clary, Leslie Pegram, Samuel Dyer, and Brittany (Carl) LeMaster; sister Valaine Faul; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Marti was preceded in death by her father Keith and brother Douglas Mildon.
