Marilyn's Obituary
Marilyn Jean Baldwin, 80, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born October 7, 1941 in Decatur to Alva and Lavina (Osborne) Schott.
Marilyn worked for many years at Decatur Fruit before her retirement. She was also a homemaker and wife to Harvey “Dusty” Baldwin, Sr. You could often find Marilyn riding around in her golf cart, visiting friends and driving into the country to watch the deer. Marilyn was the kind of lady who was loved by all, and will be missed dearly by those who loved her.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Roy (Patricia) Baldwin, Louann (Andy) Conklin, Jodie (the late Richard, Sr.) Bigelow, Frank Baldwin, and Donna (Bruce) Smith; her grandchildren, Ricky Bigelow, Max Bigelow, Leri (Bruce) Mattingly, Patrick Whitman, Billy (Elaine) Baldwin, Brian Whitman, Kaidin Smith, Landon Smith, Matthew Smith, Mikaela Smith, Kevin (Rini) Conklin, Ann Marie (Jason) Cluff, Ken (Sasha) Conklin, and Kelli (Rob) Brodhagen; 24 great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren; and her siblings, Flossie Martin, Lucy Miller, Donna German, and William Schott.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey “Dusty” Baldwin, Sr.; her son, Harvey Baldwin, Jr.; six brothers; five sisters; and her parents.
