Margaret's Obituary
Margaret Lucile West, 91, of Decatur, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 19, 2021 at The Timbers of Cass County.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm, Monday, November 22, 2021 at Harrison Cemetery, Decatur.
Margaret was born December 3, 1929 in Decatur to Carl and Ethel (Osborn) Spicher. Margaret loved her beloved dogs, always having at least one, and always took the time to memorialize them. She was also an avid collector of antiques. In her younger years, she enjoyed selling her produce and other products at the farmer’s market in South Bend. She was also a former long-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Decatur. She will be remembered as a loving, generous, and kind lady.
Margaret is survived by her brother, Cedric Spicher; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her companion of over 50 years, Aubrey West; her siblings, Helen Mattush, Boyd Spicher, Gerald "Barney" Spicher, Linda Smith, Sylvia "Sue" Grissom, and Lonnie Spicher; and her parents.
