Neddy's Obituary
Lynita Cherrise Bosby (Neddy), 54, formerly of Pullman, MI passed away Thursday April 27th, 2023. Lynita was born February 5, 1969 at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, IL, to Josephine Dunn and Alvin Young. Lynita filled our lives with love from the moment she came into the world. After graduating from Funston School in 8th grade, she later attended Michael Reese High School where she later left and moved to Michigan. Lynita met her husband John Earl Bosby Jr., there in 1990 in Pullman, MI and they married November 16th 1992 at the Allegan County Courthouse. They were married for 31 years before her passing.
She was known for her love and passion for taking care of others. Lynita will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Lynita’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her spouse; John Earl Bosby Jr., three daughters; Crystal (Rocky) of Holland, MI, Kimberly (Sadiq) of Holland, MI and Mercedes (Devin) of Pullman, MI. Two sons; Marcus of Pullman, MI and John (Joenia) of Kentucky. Lynita has 13 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, her mother; Josephine of Chicago, IL, two brothers; Alvin (Angie) of Zeeland, MI and Calvin (Sara) of Hartford, MI and sister; Tracy (Larry) of Chicago, IL. This queen was the best fairy god-mother to many. Lynita is proceeded in death by her dad; Alvin Young, step-father; Marlon Dunn, Mother-in-law; Mira Bosby and a host of many other special family members.
Lynita had a passion in everything she did. She was a great business woman where she owned her own clothing store: S & N Urban Wear. She loved doing hair and enjoyed being with her grandkids that she loved so much. They were her world just like she is ours. Lynita was a full-time mother, wife and grandma. We will remember her as Boss Lady. She always stayed busy no matter what. Lynita had a kind and loving soul and would give the shirt off her back if she had to.
A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Filbrandt Chapel with Pastor William Richardson officiating. Kindly share your thoughts on the family’s online guestbook at www.starksfh.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Filbrandt Chapel of Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 269-637-0333.
