Lydia Zacha, 98, of Benton Harbor, MI, passed away on Sunday – November 21, 2021 at the Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home – 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI.
Lydia (Lentz) Zacha was born on July 25, 1923 in Stevensville, MI to the late Albert and Lydia (Rolfe) Lentz. She graduated from St. Paul’s Lutheran School and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Lydia enjoyed traveling and did get to see most of the 50 states as well as many foreign countries.
Lydia is survived by her husband – Henry Zacha; two sons – Jack Zacha of Benton Harbor and Jim Zacha of Bridgman; five grandchildren – Kelly (Brett) Merritt, Dawn (Tim) Miller, Michael (Lauren) Zacha, James (Amy) Zacha and Julie (Randall) Brodsky; nine great grandchildren – Elle Mabon, Brody and Griffin Zacha, Max and Ava Zacha, Siena and Ryder and Kalli and Bexley Brodsky.
Private family services were held with burial at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Memorial contributions may be made to Caring Circle Hospice. Friends wishing to leave the family a message of condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com
