LouAnn (Barry) Agens, 89, of Stevensville, MI passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the Whitcomb Senior Living Tower in St. Joseph.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 7, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 220 Church St., St. Joseph with Fr. Emmanuel Mbah officiating. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Caring Circle Hospice or the Readiness Center. Lou Ann was born December 15, 1932 in Benton Harbor, MI to William & Helene (Lutter) Barry Sr. She Graduated from St. John’s High School in 1950. On February 16, 1952 she married Donald Agens in Benton Harbor. Lou Ann was a homemaker but also enjoyed working in the Lakeshore High School Cafeteria and McGraths Restaurant. Lou Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, going out to eat with friends and shopping.
Lou Ann is survived by her children Sally Robinson, David (Gwen) Agens, James Agens, Steve Agens, Gretchen (Mike) Hoadley and Chris McNeil; 11 grandchildren Nate McNeil, Jason (Rachael) Storm, Aaron Thumm, Justin (Rachel) Agens, Ryan Agens, Jessica Agens, Melissa (Nathan) Stephenson, Candice (Zachary) Scruggs, Max (Samantha) Agens, Alex (Ashley) Agens and Jenna Agens; 12 great grandchildren; and sister-in-law Bernice Barry.
Lou Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers William Barry and Patrick Barry; and daughter-in-law Debbie Agens.
