Lori's Obituary
Lori L. Fox, 65, of Dowagiac, passed away early Monday morning, July 10, 2023 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. She was born on September 16, 1957 in St. Joseph, Michigan, the daughter of the late Vincent and Frances (Musser) Dewey. Lori was a 1976 graduate of Eau Claire High School. She went on to earn her Associate’s degree in Cosmetology from Ferris State University. On August 26, 1978, she was united in marriage to Steven A. Fox. Lori was kind, compassionate, encouraging and full of love. Even with her physical challenges, she continued to encourage others and live life to the fullest. She was a woman of faith, who loved her church and church family. She loved her children and grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Steve Fox; their three children, Andrea (Doug) Ausra, Jason (Mandy) Fox and Nicole (Mark) Teten; eight grandchildren, Madison, Alivia and Tate Ausra, Tanner, Zoe, Parker and Zayden Fox, and Bjorn Teten; two sisters, Linda Kohman and Leslie (Jeff) Forsyth; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Larry Dewey.
Funeral services to celebrate Lori’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 13, at Calvary Bible Church, 27032 Marcellus Hwy, Dowagiac, where friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
