Linda's Obituary

Linda Pedde, 66, our sweet sister and aunt was welcomed into Heavenly splendor, Thursday, July 11, 2024, surrounded by her family. Although she’s experienced several health issues in the last few years, she has proven to be quite the warrior.

In her younger days, Linda babysat for the neighborhood and Trinity Lutheran teacher’s children. Many have kept in touch with her over the years and consider her a huge influence in their lives, especially the Lawrence family. She also volunteered for Trinity’s Sunday School program for over 30 years. Needless to say, she shaped many children’s lives and kept them close to Christ.

But youngsters were not the only thing close to her heart. Linda was a receptionist at the Whitcomb Towers for 25 years. Again, keeping in close touch with several residents and their families through the years.

Linda was an avid card writer! She was always quick to put a thank you, get well or thinking of you card in the mail. She never missed a birthday or anniversary and had an uncanny knack to get the cards to arrive the same day as the special event.

Although saddened by her passing, but rejoicing in the fact she’s with Jesus, she leaves behind so many people that loved her. Namely, her sissies; Nancy, Lisa, Amy and Sue Pedde, and her favorite girlie-girl niece, Jazmyne Pedde; special friends, our “Brudder” Richard Hackbarth, Ann Marquez, and John Riley; our aunt, Annabelle Tinberg, all of her beloved cousins, and our fur babies Wrigley and Ivy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Betty Pedde and several aunts and uncles.

We want to thank the CCU staff at Corewell Lakeland, the staff at Golden Shores and everyone at Royalton Manor, where Linda served as President of the Resident Council - All Hail! Thank you for taking care of our sister and aunt.
