Linda's Obituary
Linda Diane Dolezan, 55, passed away at her home in Benton Harbor on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, after a six-year fight against Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Linda was born in Niles, MI to Joan (Bernstein) and Richard Mantke on November 22, 1966. She graduated from Berrien Springs High School in 1984 and was crowned Miss Congeniality. She never gave up that title and continued to be the most caring person anyone ever knew. Linda married the love of her life, Leonard Dolezan on April 18, 1992 in Sand Key, FL.
She was the life of the party and always brought the best out in everyone. She loved to dance, go to concerts, eat good food and travel. Being the social butterfly that she was, the last job she had was Social Media Director at Victory Casino Cruises. The most important job of her life was being a mother, wife, sister, and friend. Her secrets of the money spent on purses and shopping sprees with her daughter will go with her to the grave.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Dolezan; two children, Ryan Dolezan of Benton Harbor and Jenna Dolezan of Grand Rapids; sister, Laura (Scott) Rosenhagen of Berrien Springs; brother, Michael Mantke of Stevensville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private funeral has been held and she will be buried at Lincoln Charter Township Cemetery in Stevensville. Arrangements were entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to METAvivor in memory of Linda Dolezan:
