Leona's Obituary
Leona B. Johnson, 83 of South Haven, passed away at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. Born on April 13, 1939 in Heber Arkansas to James and Mary Sellers. United in marriage on December 21, 1957 to the late Eugene Johnson.
Leona is survived by son David Johnson, daughter Judy (Jason) Moore, grandkids; Corey (Amy) Johnson, Jason Kohlhoff, Norine (Mike) Griffen, Josh Moore, Richard (Jamie) Moore and 6 great grandkids.
Leona is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 60 years, Eugene Johnson, siblings; Helen Porter, Jimmie Green, Roy Sellers and Joe Sellers.
Leona met and married her high school sweetheart Eugene. They moved to Michigan to be near family and their grandchildren. She worked at South Haven Coil for 10 years before retiring. Leona was a very loving and patient woman, an avid gardener always out tending to her flowers and reading during the winter months. She loved her family and grandchildren with all of her heart, they were her main focus in life.
