Lee's Obituary
A Celebration of Life Home Going Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2023 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Duane Seats officiating. Friends may call beginning at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service also at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Lee’s name may be made to the Family, c/o Ella Wesby. Lee was born September 21, 1983 in Tacoma, WA to Lee H. Fowler & Betty L. Wesby. After moving to Benton Harbor, he graduated from Benton Harbor High School, Class of 2001, and went on to earn his degree in Culinary Arts. Lee found work, wherever he lived, whether it be Goshen, South Bend or Colorado, in the restaurant industry, feeding the hungry crowds in his establishments. Lee loved to cook outside of work, and always took care of his many friends & family. He also loved to entertain his friends & family with his keen sense of humor, always keeping everyone around him laughing. He appeared on National TV on the Maury Povich & Judge Hatchett shows, and had a love of classic cars. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Lee is survived by his children-LeAnthony Fowler, Leeah & Leeza Fowler, Jaiyce Bradley, Makayla Sallie; stepmother Patricia Fowler; his siblings-Latoya Wesby, Shanika Fowler, Kaleesha Fowler, Kenny Fowler, Kevon Fowler, Patrick Fowler; his maternal grandmother, Ella Wesby; aunts Sonia Fowler, Nellie Fowler, Mary Fowler, Valerie Star, Marie Wesby-Grayes, Juanita Gamble; uncles Dontrell Robinson, Darnell Lewis; his special friend Avecia James, special cousins Marvin Johnson, Vesha James, special friend/brother Travis Elliot; and a host of cousins & friends too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty L. Wesby-Vinson, his father Lee H. Fowler, aunt: Debra Wesby, grandmother Bertha Fowler, great-grandmother Roberta Fowler.
