Lawrence E. Lindemann, 84, of St. Joseph, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, with his family by his side at Pine Ridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11 am on Monday, December 27, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 220 Church St., St. Joseph, MI. Burial will follow in North Shore Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Sunday, December 26, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse Forever Fund, Attn: City of St. Joseph, 700 Broad St., St. Joseph. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.

Larry was born on February 22, 1937, to Elmer and Marion (Withers) Lindemann in Coloma, MI. On October 4, 1958, he married Marcia Lodyga at St. Johns Catholic Church, Benton Harbor. Professionally, Larry served as a product support manager at Clark Equipment for 31 years before retiring. He then worked at Benton Harbor Engineering, owned and operated his own hydraulics company, and drove for Sieman’s for many years before officially retiring in 2010.

Larry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marcia Lindemann; daughters, Michelle (William) Hicks, Laryl (David) Powell and Marla (Charles) Barnard; grandchildren, Michael Hicks, Bethany Hicks, Hannah (Samuel) Strauss, Emma Barnard, Rachel Barnard and siblings, Carol (Dan) Hauch and Ronald (Barbara) Lindemann. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Marion Lindemann.
