Larry Lohraff, 84, of Berrien Springs, MI passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 at his home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Heritage Chapel & Cremation Services, 8747 US 31, Berrien Springs, MI with pastor Michael Roth officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Berrien Springs. Larry was born in Oronoko Township on December 13, 1938 to Harold & Shirley (Schlutt) Lohraff Sr. He graduated from Buchanan high school in 1956. On November 26, 1958 he married Jacqueline “Jackie” (DuBois) in Buchanan. Larry worked as a designer for Bendix Automotive for many years. Larry loved fishing, hunting, gardening, traveling, woodworking in his workshop and was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing baseball in his younger days. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife Jackie Lohraff; sons Todd (Patrice) Lohraff and Michael Lohraff; grandchildren Alyssa Wisler, Madison Lohraff, Kristofer Lohraff and Lynsey (Noah) Adams; great grandchildren Olive Adams, Grizzley Adams and Kodiak Adams; siblings James (Susan) Rundborg Jr., Juanita (Tom) Baker, Carol (Leonard) McCarty, Patricia Rundborg and Kathleen (Jeff) Younger; and many nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Shirley Lohraff; step father James Rundborg Sr.; son Larry Scott Lohraff; sister Phyllis Dodd and brother Terry Rundborg.
