Khamjot Thi (Dao) Nonthaweth, 78, of Holland, MI, passes away at home.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 9:30 A.M. at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd, St. Joseph, MI. with Monk Thai officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Linh Son Buddhist Temple. Khamjot was born Pakse, Laos on January 4, 1944. She met and married Don Nonthaweth in 1965. She worked at Lakeshore Studios for many years as a seamstress. Some of her hobbies were gardening, sewing, taking walks, but most of all she loved to cook and host family and friends. Her favorite pastime was playing and babysitting her grandchildren. Khamjot was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that will be dearly missed.
Khamjot is survived by her sons; Mark Nonthaweth, Paul Nonthaweth, John Nonthaweth, David Nonthaweth, Kenny Nonthaweth, daughters; Kimpay Sesta and Lien Dinh, 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband Don, her parents and granddaughter, Tracy Dinh.
