Karl R. Seng, 86, of St. Joseph, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at his home.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 1PM, at Trinity Lutheran Church, on the corner of Court St. & Market St., St. Joseph. Friends may visit with the family from 12PM until the time of the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 619 Main Street, St. Joseph or the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, 5400 S. Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Karl was born on March 7, 1936, to Homer & Mildred (Yentes) Seng in Roanoke, IN. He proudly served his country before being honorably discharged. On July 2, 1960, Karl married the love of his life, Jane Von Asch in LaPorte, IN. He worked as an engineer for Niles Steel Tank Company before his retirement.
Karl is survived by his wife, Jane Seng of St. Joseph; children, David Seng of Montana and Peter (Stacy) Seng of Edina, MN; grandson, Eric Seng and siblings Dan Seng and Caroline Barkow.
