Judy's Obituary
Judith Ardelle (Geitz) Vinsek, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at The Willows Assisted Living Facility in St. Joseph, Michigan where she had resided since February 2020.
Judith was born on July 27, 1942 to Chuck & Vera Geitz in Knox, Indiana. She moved to Michigan in the 70’s and resided in Benton Harbor before moving to The Willows.
Judy was employed by the Berrien County Intermediate School District for many years as a paraprofessional with autistic and other special needs adolescents.
Survivors include her daughter Veronica Konieczny of Berrien Springs, sister-in-law Pat Geitz, niece Michelle (Geitz) Stayback and her children Katie and Wade, nephew Jeff Geitz and his children Daniel, Christopher, Samantha and Thomas, and dear friend and caregiver Lynda Ficca.
Judy will be remembered by her friends and loved ones for her perpetual optimism and her dedication to her daughter Veronica, her independent spirit, her incredibly creative sewing skills, and her kind, generous and giving heart.
