Judith Jones Soelle, 84, of St. Joseph passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at her home.
Judith was born on September 5, 1938 to Herbert & Magdeline (Mitchell) Hartman in Decatur, Illinois. She married Frances Arthur “Mike” Jones, who passed away on March 19, 1995. Judith then met Douglas Soelle and they were married on August 14, 1999.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas; son, Nick (Jill) Jones; step-children, Corin (Chuck) Bauers, Paul Douglas Soelle III, Sheri (Scott) McMurray and Lori (Guido) Boers; granddaughters, Madeline, Ava, Claire, Bridget and Emma; step-grandchildren, Tyler, Bryce, Jasper, Carson and Jackson and son-in-Law Tim Lawley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband and her daughter Deborah Lawley in 2003.
A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Episcopal Church of the Mediator in Harbert at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 4-6 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd in St. Joseph. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
