Joseph A. Panzica, 73, of St. Joseph, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 1PM, at Christ Lutheran Church, 4333 Cleveland Ave., Stevensville. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 11AM until the time of the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 4333 Cleveland Ave., Stevensville. Joseph was born on May 1, 1949, to Tony & Cecelia (Symons) Panzica in St. Louis, MO. He graduated from Jennings High School. Enlisting in the United States Air Force, Joseph proudly serving his country for four years before being honorably discharged in 1972. On March 4, 1972, Joseph married Mary Burr in St. Louis. He worked in sales for many years, most recently as the Director of Sales of National Accounts for Whirlpool before his retirement. He became a published author for his book Sales Whisperer which led him to consulting for sales as different businesses and colleges around the country. Joseph was member the Stevensville American Legion and elder for Christ Lutheran Church. When he was younger, he was a musician and songwriter. In his older years he enjoyed playing golf, but throughout his whole life he was an avid St. Louis Cardinals’ fan.
Joseph is survived by his daughters, Stacy (David) Neidlinger of Stevensville and Jennifer (Jeff) Lyon of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Ava Neidlinger, Nathan Neidlinger and Noah Lyon; and sister Linda (Steven) Fuller of Hazelwood, MO.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and wife Mary in 2021.
