Jesus Rosales, 48, of Sodus, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 12, 2021 in St. Joseph.
The family will receive guests from 6-8pm, Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Newell Chapel, 83313 M-51, Decatur. Visitation will continue from 11am until time of funeral Mass at 12pm, Friday, December 17, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 63559 60th Ave., Hartford. Burial to follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Decatur.
Jesus was born January 1, 1973 in La Feria, TX to Miguel and Asuncion (Gasca) Rosales. Jesus was a friend, a son, and a devoted husband and father. Jesus loved to spend time with family and friends. Jesus’ had many passions, he loved to draw or paint in his free time as he was an excellent artist. He loved listening to music as he would share his music with family, friends, co-workers, he also loved listening to his daughter Sofia play piano. He also loved movies, his family would oftentimes be going to the movies every weekend. He shared a love of pop culture with his sons Christopher and Daniel, daughters Erica and Sofia, and brothers. He loved all forms of nature and he loved to go for drives, walks on beaches, and fishing with his wife Adriana. Jesus was a caring, and honorable person looking out for his fellow man and helping out everyone close to him whenever he could. He was also a smart, strong and hardworking man, working long hours as a harvester and grower. As a problem solver there wasn’t a problem Jesus couldn’t solve whether it be around the house or mechanically. Jesus was also a very spiritual man devoted to his religion as a true son of God. He will truly be missed and will be loved forevermore.

A Jesús le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. Jesús tenía muchas pasiones, le encantaba dibujar o pintar en su tiempo libre ya que era un excelente artista. Le encantaba escuchar música ya que compartía su música con su familia, amigos, compañeros de trabajo, también le encantaba escuchar a su hija Sofía tocar el piano. También amaba las películas, su familia a menudo iba al cine todos los fines de semana. Compartió el amor por la cultura pop con sus hijos Christopher y Daniel, sus hijas Erica y Sofia y sus hermanos. Amaba todas las formas de la naturaleza y le encantaba pasear en coche, pasear por las playas y pescar con su esposa Adriana. Jesús era una persona cariñosa y honorable que cuidaba a su prójimo y ayudaba a todos los que estaban cerca de él siempre que podía. También era un hombre inteligente, fuerte y trabajador, que trabajaba muchas horas como recolector y cultivador. Como solucionador de problemas, no había ningún problema que Jesús no pudiera resolver, ya fuera en la casa o mecánicamente. Jesús también fue un hombre muy espiritual dedicado a su religión como un verdadero hijo de dios. Verdaderamente será extrañado y amado para siempre.
Jesus is survived by his children, Jesus Daniel Rosales, Ymari Sofia Rosales, Erica Denise Rosales, and Christopher Miguel Rosales; his long-time partner and soulmate, Adriana Gasca; his parents, Miguel and Asuncion Rosales; his siblings, Jose Rosales, Julio Rosales, Miguel Rosales, Noe Rosales, Arturo Rosales, and Rodolfo Rosales; and many extended family and friends.
