Jerry was born on September 27, 1961, to Carl and Joyce (Farmer) Corwin in Niles. He graduated from Niles High School in 1980 and continued his education through Southwestern Michigan College. Professionally, Jerry served at various organizations through the years, including the SE Berrien County Landfill, Galien Plastics, Watsons Tree Service and over the road truck driver. He was best described as a simple man. He was an avid outdoorsman, and especially loved fishing; steelhead fishing, walleye fishing, a lot of fishing. It would be difficult to find a lake he hasn’t been on in the area, if there is one. He also enjoyed goose and duck hunting. Jerry was mechanically inclined and small engine repair was his favorite hobby. Most of all, he loved his family and cherished time with his grandchildren.
Jerry is survived by his son, Nathane (Kaytlin) Corwin of Coloma; daughter, Ariel (Rusty) Strouts of Buchanan; grandchildren, Orion, Violet, Paisley, Fletcher, Delaney, Liam, Hudson and siblings, Carlyn Morris, David (Becky) Corwin and Nancy (Scott) Bonner. He was preceded in death by his parents.
