Jenny's Obituary
Jennifer (Jenny) Johnson Passed away at home on Sunday June 5, 2022, after her brief battle with cancer.
She was born on November 17, 1967, to Isaac and Georgette Ball in St. Joseph Michigan. She grew up in southwest Michigan and attended River Valley High School. She is the mother to 4 kids, Ashley Sommerfield, Timothy Rochefort, Tyler Evans, and Christopher Evans, as well as the many “adopted” children she had through the years. She was a bartender for many years and the last 18 of those you could see her smiling face behind the bar at Clementine’s Too in St. Joe working the lunch shift. She loved watching the Bears and Cubs play and cheering them on every Sunday when she got the chance. Her house was always filled with family, friends, laughter, games, food, and drink. Whether it was 2 people showing up or 20 people there was always enough food to go around. She adored her family, especially her kids, grandkids, and fur babies. Her significant other and best friend Danny would constantly tease her with his love for the Lions. Watching their back and forth would always bring laughter to everyone that got to see it. Over her many years in the industry, she had many friends and coworkers that became family.
Jenny is survived by her significant other Daniel Rochefort, her mother Georgette Lord, her father Isaac Ball, her children Ashley (Jonathan), Timothy (Dawn), Tyler, Christopher, and honorary son Ryan Krause, her brothers Timothy (Mary Beth), Anthony (Janice), her grandson Link Rochefort, former spouse David Johnson, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, bonus grandchildren and many others that will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her stepfather Kenneth Lord, as well as her father and mother-in-law, Gary and Zelma Rochefort.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Clementine’s Too. 1235 Broad St., St. Joseph, MI. 49085 at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Berrien County Humane Society, 5400 S Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI 49085. Those wishing to leave a condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
