Janice Lee “Jan” Jackson, 86, of St. Joseph, MI passed away on Monday,
June 27, 2022 at Caretel Inns St. Joseph.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 12:30
PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 220 Church Street, St. Joseph, MI, with
Fr. John Fleckenstein officiating. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday,
July 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel,
2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph, MI.

Jan was born on February 8, 1936 in Stevensville, MI to Edmund and
Mabel (Nash) Lincolnhol. She married Donald Jackson on January 14, 1956
at St. Joseph Catholic Church and celebrated over 66 years together. Jan
worked as a secretary at Clark Equipment & Bosch Manufacturing retiring
after 30 years of service. She volunteered at Birthright and the St. Joseph Senior
Center. Jan loved to bake, her chocolate chip cookies were a family favorite. She
also enjoyed working on puzzles, cross stitching, and knitting. She was a
lifelong Detroit Tigers fan. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Her generosity was received by many.
Jan is survived by her husband Donald Jackson, Children; Diane (Mark)
Ellis of Portage, MI, Maureen (Michael) Leidlein of Grand Rapids, Michael
(Janine Donahue) Jackson of Morton, IL, James (Ann) Jackson of St.
Joseph, MI, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
June 27, 2022 at Caretel Inns St. Joseph.
