Janice M. Angelo, 72, of Benton Harbor, passed away, Friday, February 25, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, Friday, March 4, 2022 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 555 E. Delaware, Benton Harbor, with Fr. James Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman. Memorial donations in Janice’s name may be made to Berrien County Cancer Service. Janice was born March 20, 1949 in Benton Harbor to Delbert & Jennie (Damico) Humes. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School, Class of 1967. Janice was employed for many years at Whirlpool Corporation in Benton Harbor, retiring from the Human Resources Department. She was a member of St. John/St. Bernard Parish in Benton Harbor. Janice devoted her life to her family and cherished the time spent with them, especially her grand & great-grandchildren. She loved being a grandmother. In her free time, Janice enjoyed shopping, reading, playing cards, cooking, tending to her flower & vegetable gardens, and spending time at the beach.
Janice is survived by her children-Thomas Adams of Bridgman, Jennifer (Donald) Bledsoe of Benton Harbor; eight grandchildren-Thomas, Benjamin, Eric, Peyton, Katarina, Angel, Eric & King; four great-grandchildren-Teagan, Navi, Tommy, & Maverick; siblings-Brenda Wilson of Norfolk, VA, Kenneth Humes of St. Joseph; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Thomas Wayne Adams, II, and two brothers-Russell & Raymond Humes.
