James Edward (Jim) Sullivan. January 28,1955 - August 10, 2022
Jim Sullivan was born on January 28, 1955, in Wyandotte, Michigan, to John and Betty (Myers) Sullivan. He graduated from St. Joe High School and attended the University of Michigan.
Jim is survived by his siblings Sally ((Elliott) Simkins, Beth (Ken) Peplinski, John (Jean) Sullivan, and Mary (Scott) Early as well as nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandparents, including his grandmother Lizzie Sullivan who he was especially close to.
The family extends special thanks to his caregivers Jolly, Maureen, and Manny for the love and exceptional care they provided him.
A graveside memorial service will held on September 9, at 11:30 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo. Memorials may be directed to the National Alliance on Mental Illness Michigan chapter (Nami.org) or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Sommerfeld Chapel – 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo has been entrusted with arrangements.
