James's Obituary
James M. Stephens, 92, of Baroda, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Pine Ridge Nursing home in Stevensville. He was born November 29, 1930 in Searcy, AR to Jessie and Lila (King) Stephens.
Jim was a proud member of the Air Force and a past member of the American Legion in Baroda. He was also a long-time member of Calvary Bible Church in Lapeer, MI. Jim enjoyed spending his free time fishing.
Jim will be missed by his siblings, Lela (the late Ray) Hoge, DeLois (the late Paul “Skeeter”) Hoge, John (Susan) Stephens, Jessie Stephens, Roger (Kathy) Stephens, and Diane (Bill) Groth; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lauraline “Peg” Stephens; his sisters, Betty Dinges, and Mary Breland; and his parents.
Private cremation services have taken place.
