James's Obituary
James “Jim” R. LoPresti, 45, or “Jimmy” as he was affectionately called by his family and close friends, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Hanson Hospice in Stevensville. He was born October 15, 1978 in Saint Joseph, MI to James A. and Shirley Anne (Crossman) LoPresti.
Jim’s family will celebrate his life at the D’Agostino’s Navajo Bar & Grille, 8970 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman on Sunday, October 27 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help offset Jim’s funeral expenses.
Jim attended Lakeshore school district. He lived an active life which showed through in his passion for sports and family. He was an avid bowler, and was proud to have played baseball for American Legion Post #163, coached by his uncle Bob (Moose) Crossman. He was a diehard Bears, Cubs and Notre Dame fan, even through all their tough years. His quiet time was spent fishing, trips to the golf course with his family and tinkering around on the various cars he owned over the years.
Jim will be missed by his children, Dakota “Cody” (Alley Brown) LoPresti, Raigan LoPresti, Corinne LoPresti, and Aria LoPresti; his sister, Sheila (Stephen Shoaf) LoPresti-Shoaf; and his nieces, Cassidy Hollerbach, and Samantha and Isabella LoPresti.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Vincent J.LoPresti; and his parents.
