He spent 43 years of dedicated service and accomplishments at Whirlpool Corporation as well as gaining many co-workers and friends. He traveled Nationally and Internationally and volunteered as Chairman of the Whirlpool Community Golf Event for several years. He was an avid golfer and played golf at Harbor Shores Golf Club, belonged to the Point O’ Woods Golf and Country Club and was a former member of Berrien Hills Country Club. Jack loved his work, family, and gatherings. He was a long-distance bicyclist with his friends in Florida, loved boating, fishing, pizza and beer, as well as spending time at his home in Florida especially after he retired. Jack was one of a kind and was known as a meticulous dresser and was always neat appearing of himself, his cars, lawn, house, and surroundings.
A special thank you to the staff at Woodland Terrace that cared and cooked for him. Thank you to the staff of Caring Circle and to the family and friends that visited him to brighten up his days spent at Woodland Terrace. Jack will be missed by all that knew and loved him. He always had a real-life story to tell and several sayings such as: “Common sense is not so common”, “Perfecto” and “We are only here for a visit.” We miss him so much already and forever will.
