Jeff's Obituary
Jeffery A. “Jeff” Houseworth, 59, of Baroda, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021. A private family service will be held at a later date. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Jeff was born on March, 8, 1962, in Buchanan, MI to Elwyn & Janet (Peil) Houseworth. He attended St. Joseph High School. Jeff had a passion for auto mechanics. Professionally, he worked at the former Baber’s Marathon Shop for over 15 years and socially, he loved to take his daughter, Hannah, to the Hartford Racetrack where they would enjoy time together watching the races. When Baber’s went out of business, Jeff relocated to another job he enjoyed, which was working with landscaping; first at Whirlpool Corporation and later at Earthscapes. His last career was working at Autocam Corporation in Dowagiac manufacturing car parts. Although Jeff preferred the comfort of his own home, he would always cherish the times he would spend with his daughter going to the movies or to car shows.
Jeff is survived by his daughter, Hannah (Thomas Delannoy) Houseworth of France; mother, Janet Houseworth; and siblings, Jill (Patrick) Kennedy, Sherrie (Greg) Kovac, and Terry (Karen) Houseworth. He was preceded in death by his father, Elwyn Houseworth.
