Herbert's Obituary
Herbert Lee Story, 81, of Buchanan, MI passed away on Thursday – February 9, 2023 at Corwell Health Lakeland in St. Joseph, MI. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel – 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI.
Herbert was born on May 5, 1941 in Curothersville, MO to the late Herbert and Geneva (Kurtz) Story.
Herbert is survived by his wife Wanda (Brooks) Story, whom he married on Sept. 27, 1961; children - Londa Rose and Randy Story; grandchildren – Nicole and Kyle.
Herbert served his country while in the U.S. Air Force. He drove for the United Parcel Service for many years. Herbert will be missed by family and friends, but never forgotten.
The Story family is planning a Memorial Service on the family farm later this year. Herbert’s final resting place will be at the Covert Cemetery in Covert, MI.
