Henry's Obituary

Henry W. Zacha, 103, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Caretel Inns, St. Joseph. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, St. Joseph, 269-556-9450.

Henry was born on December 18, 1918, in New Troy, MI., to Adolph and Matilda Zacha. He honorably served his country in the United States Army Air Forces during WWII as an aerial engineer. In 1941, Henry married Lydia Lentz in Stevensville. Henry was the cofounder of Consolidated Die Cast in Dowagiac. He was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Joseph.

Henry is survived by his sons, Jack and Jim Zacha, both of Bridgman; five grandchildren, Kelly (Brett) Berritt, Michael (Lauran) Zacha, Julie (Randall) Brodski, James (Amy) Zacha, Dawn (Tim) Miller and nine great-grandchildren.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents and wife Lydia Zacha.

Private family services were held with burial in Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Memorial contributions may be made to Caring Circle- Hospice. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
