Harry's Obituary
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 20th, 2022, 3:00 pm, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Private burial will take place at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Memorial donations in Harry’s name may be made to Caring Circle Hospice. Harry was born October 7, 1939 in Benton Harbor to Harry Patterson Sr. & Mildred (Geisler) Bullard. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School, Class of 1957. On February 6, 1960, he married the former Joan Dixon in St. Joseph. Harry attended trade school to learn linotype and then gained employment at Patterson Printing in Benton Harbor, where he worked for many years. Harry then opened his own business, Bullard Printing in Stevensville, which he and Joan operated for twenty years until their retirement. Harry was a founding member of the South Shore Racquet Club where he was an avid tennis player. Over the years he has also enjoyed coaching little league baseball, golfing, and following college basketball. Most of all, Harry cherished the time spent with his grand & great-grandchildren and was affectionately known to them all as “Bubba”.
Harry is survived by his wife Joan; his children-Kathy (Ven) McAndrew of St. Joseph, Mike (Krista) Bullard of Traverse City; four grandchildren-Emily McAndrew, Stephen (Hope) McAndrew, Karley (T.J.) Brogan, Jacob (Jacki) Bullard; four great-grandchildren-Natalie & Jamie McAndrew, Patterson Brogan & Benji Warren-Bullard; and his sister Barb Lamb of St. Augustine, FL Harry was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother-in-law Fred Lamb.
