Glen J. Johnson, 71, of Dowagiac, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at his home in Dowagiac.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 2:00PM, at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St. Dowagiac, with Pastor Nathan Wilder officiating. Friends may visit on Friday, from 1:30PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Glen’s name may be made to E. Root Fitch Memorial Camp. Glen was born January 9, 1952, in Chicago, IL, to Helge and Jane (Anderson) Johnson. Growing up, he worked in his family restaurant, then Later in life, worked as a contractor in Chicago before his retirement. After retiring, he moved to the Sister Lakes area. Glen was good with his hands and could build and fix just about anything. He was a kind man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Helge Johnson and Jane Buettner.
