Gerhardt's Obituary
Gerhardt Heinrich Doroh, 99, of St. Joseph, formerly of Benton Harbor, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Stevensville. He was born September 15, 1922 in Stevensville to Otto and Wilhelmine (Kroening) Doroh.
The family will receive guests from 6-8pm, Friday, September 9, 2022 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Visitation will continue from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am, Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 619 Main St., St. Joseph. Burial to follow at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church.
Gerhardt and his wife Rosemary were very active in the Trinity Lutheran community. Gerhardt’s gift to Trinity was his 70 plus years in the choir.
Gerhardt will be missed by his sons, Rev. Gerhardt (Rita) Doroh, Duane (Carma) Doroh, Rev. David (Dorie) Doroh, Larry (Mary) Doroh, and Kenneth (Barb) Doroh; 13 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and four great, great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary (Fatter) Doroh of 73 years; siblings; and his parents.
