J.R.'s Obituary
Finnis O. Reed, Jr., “J.R.”, 60, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022 in St. Joseph. He was born on July 10, 1962 in Chanute, KS to Finnis O. and Sarah Reed.
J.R. was a long-time member of the Carpenter’s Union – Local 525. Over his career, he worked for most of the major construction companies in Southwest Michigan. He was also a Sons of the Legion member. But J.R. will be most remembered as a present and proud father.
J.R. is survived by his sons, Bradley (Jollene) Reed, and Brandon (Emma) Reed; his grandchildren, Charlee, and Camden; and several siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services at this time, will be held privately.
