Evelyn DeMorrow, 99, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at Caretel Inns in St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Crystal Springs Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Friends may visit from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday, at the funeral home. Evelyn was born July 2, 1923 in Benton Harbor, MI to Adolph & Martha (Schermer) Priebe. On March 14, 1942 she married Mike DeMorrow. Evelyn worked for VM Corporation and Gast Manufacturing for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and baking.
Evelyn is survived by her son Larry DeMorrow; 4 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister Elsie “Ruth” Faultersack; brother James (Judith) Priebe; and many nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Jerry DeMorrow.
