Eula's Obituary
Eula B. Henderson, 67, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Corwell Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph. She was born April 24, 1956 in Memphis, TN to Earl Mims, Sr. and Hattie Mae Jones.
Eula was a devoted community liaison for Coloma Community Schools for 27 years before her retirement. During her time at Coloma schools, she coached track for over 20 years. She was also well known as a bartender at Blossom Lanes and Strikers (formerly Kelly’s Bowl). Despite her busy career and social engagements, Eula enjoyed spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren, and watching Chicago Bears and Ohio State football.
Eula will be missed by her children, Antwan (Nikki) Henderson, and Tabetha Joy Thomas; her grandchildren, Maddox Henderson, Knox Henderson, Broox Henderson, Ashley Williams, Blake Williams, Jalen Davis, Antwan Davis, Beautiful Williams, and Mattan Thomas; her great grandchildren, Skye Williams, Journey Davis, and Jayce Davis; her father, Earl Mims, Sr.; her sisters, Mary Douglas, Maggie (William) Johnson, Brenda Curtis, Michelle (John) Kennedy, Rose Mary Mims, Amy (Antonio) Kyle, and Carolyn (Chester) Johnson; and her brothers, Earl (Juanita) Mims, Jr., Edward Golden, and Eric (Rolanda) Samples.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Broderick Henderson; her mother, Hattie Mae Jones; and her siblings, Estella Gulley, William Curtis, and Rosie Nash.
