Esther's Obituary
Esther was born on October 18, 1932 in Chicago, IL to the late Michael and Martha (Banach) Wesolowski. She was a 1950 graduate of New Buffalo High School. On October 9, 1954 she married John Michael Adrian; he preceded her in death on December 9, 2009. Esther was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in New Buffalo, as well as a founding member of the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Mary’s. She loved to entertain family and friends, especially for the holidays. Esther was an avid Chicago Black Hawk and Chicago Cub fan, and enjoyed watching golf. Her main passion were her grandchildren, whom she greatly loved.
Esther is survived by her children – Steve (Linda) Adrian of Plainfield, IN, Robert (Lisa) Adrian of Fremont, MI, Theresa (Ken) Mullins of Caledonia, MI and Ann Maxfield of Caledonia, MI; grandchildren – Michelle (Drew) Arehart, Katie (Aaron) Mater, Matt (Ashley) Adrian, Doug (Belinda) Mullins and Lynsey (Kyle) Hardin; great grandchildren – Jason, Haley, Bella, Taylor, Maddie,Travis, Westley, Dax, Mia, Brooklyn, Jace, Taylor, Gavin and Brooks; sister – Norma “Mickey” Wesoloski of Edwardsburg, MI; many nephews and nieces with special mention Pat Gull; and her ’soup angel’ Julie Payne. She is preceded in death by two sisters – Sophie Kolodiej and Joanne Fleck.
Visitation with the family is on Thursday, November 17, from 4:00-8:00pm, Rosary at 7:30pm, at the Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, November 18, 11:00am, at St. Mary of the Lake Church in New Buffalo. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo.
