Eric J. Jackson, 52, of St. Joseph, unexpectedly passed away from a fall on Friday, December 16, 2022.
Eric was born on February 3, 1970, to Richard & Janet (Minarik) Jackson in Watervliet. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1988. He attended Andrews University to obtain his pilot’s license and then continued his education at Western Michigan University earning his Bachelors of Sciences degree. He retired home to work for the family business, Universal Stamping, before purchasing Wolverine Corporation in 2003. As owner and president, he grew the company to five plants in two countries.
On October 24, 1998 Eric married the love of his life Tiffany Cadey of Ludington, Michigan. They had two children Madison (18) and Mason (11) also of St. Joseph. He loved spending time with his wife, kids and friends especially when he had the opportunity to sneak away to Florida for some sunshine and golf. His passions included multiple local charities, skiing, flying, fast cars and most of all golfing with his wife and friends.
Eric is survived by his wife Tiffany Jackson; children, Madison and Mason Jackson; parents Richard & Janet Jackson of St. Joseph; his mother-in-law Tonda Cadey; and siblings, Shawn (Kim) Jackson, Anthony Jackson and Amy (David) Jackson Grossblat; nephews, Reed & Tate Grossblat; and niece Leila Grossblat.
A private celebration of life gathering will be held.
