Eldridge's Obituary

Eldridge Tyrone Tincher 83 of South Haven, passed away at home on December 6, 2024. Born on March 1, 1941 in Gatewood West Virginia to Herbert and Ella Tincher. United in marriage to Betty Johnson on October 14, 1997.

Eldridge is survived by wife Betty Johnson and children; Paula Cuevas, Gail McCormick, Tammy Schnoober and Michelle Moak, grandchildren; Christopher Cuevas, Christina Cuevas, Brandon Cuevas, Dustin Labinski, Erin Schnooberger, Mike Moak, Jamie Moak and Great Grandchildren; Bryce Labinski, Ryker Labinski, Kooper Watkins, Jimmy Moak.

Preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Ella Tincher, son Richard, and siblings; Marie Bender, Arbutus Murphy, Ballard Tincher and Delmas Tincher.

Eldridge worked as a Plant Manager at Controlled Rubber for 25 years. He then opened two Army Navy stores, one here in South Haven and one in Stuart Florida. He was a hard worker and worked until he was 80 years old. Mainly living in Florida, he finally retired and moved back to South Haven in 2022. Eldridge was a loving, caring thoughtful man who enjoyed traveling and cruises. He was also a lifelong member of the Moose Club where he made many memories and good friends. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Filbrandt Chapel from 11:00 A.M until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 P.M at Filbrandt Chapel 1076 S. Bailey Ave. South Haven, Michigan 49090. Pastor Eric Jarvis will officiate. Eldridge will be laid to rest at First Hebrew Congregation Cemetery.
