Eileen R. Ernzen, 80, of Dowagiac, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023, at her home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 10:00AM at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St. Dowagiac. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 9:30AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to S.N.A.P.S of Southwest Michigan. Eileen was born July 26, 1942, in Chicago, IL, to Frank and Ruth (Stephenson) Carlson. On April 16, 1988, she married Ron Ernzen in Dowagiac. Eileen loved living on the lake. She had a love for animals, especially dogs and cats. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crossword and dot to dot puzzles. Most of all she loved her family and will be greatly missed.
Eileen is survived by her loving husband, Ron Ernzen; children, Ronnie Olson, Todd (Michelle) Olson, Glenn (Jackie) Olson, Keith Olson, Steve (Angie) Ernzen, Mike (Suzanne) Ernzen, Laura McMeeken and Jodi (Brett) Smith; 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ruth Carlson.
