Eileen's Obituary
Eileen Mary Oles of Stevensville, Michigan, left her earthly body behind in the arms of her loved ones on October 9th, 2024, dancing all the way into the arms of her heavenly father.
Born at home in Hinchman, Michigan on September 20th, 1939, to Deloris (Barnett) Boal and Francis H. Boal, Eileen is survived by her four children Charlene (Robert) Steinke, Debra (Brian) Soss, Richard (Lisa) Oles, Teresa (Patrick) Wozniak; her six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gregory Oles; and siblings, John H. Boal and Barbara Ann Russell.
Eileen graduated from Berrien Springs High School, and Leila School of Nursing with her LPN Degree and dedicated her life to caring for the elderly. Eileen and her husband Greg owned and operated their own adult foster care home, Pinelyn Care Center, and after many years of joyful service, Eileen finished her career at Jordan’s Nursing Home and Woodland Terrace in Bridgman, Michigan. After a wonderful career spanning more than 60 years, Eileen continued to dedicate her time to her community and church.
Eileen was a woman of incredibly strong faith and dedicated her life to serving the Lord and her local community. Her church, Lake Michigan Christian Center, was her second home and it was her life’s joy to spread the word of God to her loved ones and community around her.
A woman of strong values, Eileen was passionate about her family and her convictions. Known to lead with her heart, she never turned away anyone in need of prayers or support. She was famous for leading her life with unconditional love above all else, which will live on through those she loved.
There will be a celebration of Eileen’s life at Lake Michigan Christian Center in Bridgman, Michigan on Saturday, November 9th at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow.
Donations to honor Eileen’s legacy can be made to Lake Michigan Christian Center and the American Cancer Society.
To honor Eileen, her family asks that you please take a moment to plant some purple flowers and consider becoming a blood donor.
