Earl's Obituary

Earl Kugle, 95, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at Caretel Inns in St. Joseph.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday November 30, 2022 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Corey Kugle officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. Earl was born July 11, 1927 in Berrien Springs, MI to Frederick & Daisey (Strong) Kugle. Earl served his country in the United States Army from 1945 until 1946. On March 5, 1949 he married Elaine Rose in South Bend, IN. Earl worked for Bendix Corporation for 26 years as a Machine Set-up Man. He enjoyed collecting antiques and working on antique clocks as well as writing religious poems which he had published.

Earl is survived by his sons Dean (Marie) Kugle, Dan (Mark Miny) Kugle, Dennis (Nancy) Kugle; grandchildren Shannon O’Daye, Christopher Kugle, Erin O’Daye, Corey Kugle, Jessica Payne, Kelly Kugle and Tiffany Evans; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sons Darryl O’Daye, Dale Kugle and Darce Kugle, four sisters, four brothers, and special friend Doris Versaw.
