Dorothy Jackson, 88, of Watervliet, MI passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Royalton Manor in St. Joseph.
Dorothy was born March 18, 1934 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Andrew & Eula (Cantrell) Jackson. She graduated valedictorian of her class from Eau Claire High School. She retired from All-Phase Company after many years in the Accounts Department. In her spare time Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, bowling, and going to breakfast with family and friends.
Dorothy is survived by her son Duane (Cindy) Peachey; daughter Carol Eliasson; son-in-law Peter Nykamp; a nephew & niece; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Sharon Nykamp and Linda Karn and sister Donna Knapp.
Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at North Shore Memory Gardens at a later date. Memorials may be made to Caring Circle Hospice or the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. Those wishing to share a memory of Dorothy online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com
