Dorothy's Obituary
Dorothy “Dodie” Evelyn (Redman) Fischer, 94, of St. Joseph, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 24, 2022 in St. Joseph. Dorothy was born June 23, 1927 in Berrien Springs, MI to Gustav and Matilda Redman.
Dorothy graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1945. She retired from Zenith in 1992 where she worked as an executive assistant. She also volunteered at the St. Joseph Lincoln Senior Center for many years. Many thanks to the Area Agency on Aging, the Willows, and the Avello family for their care of Dorothy throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Theodore Arnold, Fredrick Arnold, Caroline Erchert, and Gladys Buckner; and her parents.
Per Dorothy’s wishes, services will be held privately at Rose Hill Cemetery, Berrien Springs.
