Donald's Obituary
Donald A. Deal, 85, of Decatur, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022 at his home in Decatur. He was born July 4, 1937 in Paw Paw, MI to Freeman and Bessie (Mathews) Deal.
The family will receive guests from 11am until time of funeral service at 12pm, Friday, August 26, 2022 at Newell Chapel, 83313 M51, Decatur. Burial to follow at Harrison Cemetery, Decatur. Memorial contributions may be given to Shriners Hospitals for Children, www.lovetotherescue.org.
Don was a true nature lover. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, hunting for mushrooms, and camping up north. He was a man who took care of his own house, yard, chores and projects; nobody could do it better than him. He often spent time looking for items to collect, especially beer steins.
Don will be missed by his wife, Sandra (Nash) Deal; his children, Carol (the late David) Albain, Beverly (Ronn) Roberts, and Daniel Deal; his grandchildren, Troy Best, Jonathan Roberts, Matthew (Nicole) Deal, and Michelle Roberts; his great grandchildren, Alya, Adryn, Aiden, Bella, Catalina, Ashley, Haley, Matthew, Jr., and Abby; and his brother, Steven (Lucy) Deal.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Marylou Deal; his brothers, Harvey (Ellen) Deal, and Charles Deal; and his parents.
