Donald “Don” Blaha, 75, of St. Joseph, MI passed away Friday, June 24, 2022.
Don was born July 10, 1946 in Chicago, IL to George & Katherine (Cairy) Blaha. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1965 until 1971 during the Vietnam War & Tet Offensive where he served as a Sergeant in the Air Force Security. Don worked as a commercial photographer for many years. Don also enjoyed volunteering at the Brookfield Zoo in IL where he worked as a Docent and in the special events department for over 20 years as well as volunteering at the Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend and the St. Joseph Maud Preston Palenske Memorial Library. Don also was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting books. He loved his two cats Darryl and Brother Darryl.
Don leaves behind his beloved family Aggie Blesy; Ed (Marcy) Blesy; Anjeanette Blesy; Connor & Luke Blesy; and David Dimenna. Don was preceded in death by his parents and brother George.
