Diane's Obituary

Diane Hudak-Imbordino (Kirshenbaum), 78, of St. Joseph, passed away peacefully after a brief illness, Wednesday, March 2, 2022 surrounded by her family.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 7th, 2022, 2:00 pm, at Riverview Cemetery, 2925 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Diane was born March 5, 1943, in Benton Harbor to Hymie & Jeanette Kirshenbaum. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School, class of 1961 where she was the runner up to Miss Benton Harbor. She loved ice skating every day at Union Park and would skate with her brother, Ben and often told people she owned the ice-skating rink. She was also an avid sports fan - Go Blue! She attended Ferris State University. She worked for many years as an accountant, with most of her career spent with R.A. Mort & Supply. She was loved by all who called her mother, mimi, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Most of all, Diane cherished all her time spent with her 3 grandchildren and was lovingly known to them all as “Mimi”. She touched many lives throughout her lifetime and will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to know and love her.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Adina Slye (Hudak); her three grandchildren, Dylan, Sawyer, and Zoe Slye; and her, brother Ben Kirshenbaum. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Hymie & Jeanette Kirshenbaum; daughter, Rachel; husbands, Irvin Hudak and Joseph Imbordino; sisters, Anita (Louis) Schwab & Fern (Richard) Beaudette and sister-in-law Pam (Ben) Kirshenbaum.
