Dennis “Speedy” Johnson, 64, of Niles, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at his home.

Speedy was born February 27, 1958, in Three Rivers, MI, to Denver and Anice (Roden) Johnson. His family remembers him as a hardworking man who was driven and goal oriented. Speedy loved spending time with his family and friends and was always the life of the party. He had a love for animals and enjoyed gardening. Most of all he loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Speedy is survived by his children, Leslie (Robert) Teeter and Jason (Bryanna) Hill; grandchildren, Haleigh Michels and Houston Harwood; siblings, Ray (Vickie) Roden, Elaine (Charles) Mitchell, Bonnie Richardson and Bruce Johnson; many nieces and nephews; and his childhood best friend, Kari Auer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Denver and Anice Johnson; life-long, significant other, Claudia Hill; and siblings, Calvin Lowrey and Kathy Lowrey.
