Dennis Wayne Albrecht, 72, of Sodus, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in St. Joseph.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11am, Monday, March 14, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 619 Main St., St. Joseph. Inurnment to follow, with military honors, at Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph. Memorial contributions may be given to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, www.cff.org or the Coast Guard Foundation, www.coastguardfoundation.org.
Dennis was born January 14, 1950 in St. Joseph to Alfred and Irene (Lehman) Albrecht. He was a graduate of St. Joseph High School, class of 1968. After high school, Dennis joined the Coast Guard. After his honorable discharge, Dennis worked at the St. Joseph Post Office for many years as a letter carrier, and was a long-haul truck driver. On September 30, 1995, he married Danette Marks Webber. Dennis loved to take trips to Silver Lake, he enjoyed camping and riding his motorcycle. But he will be remembered most as a very friendly people person who was loved by all.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Danette Albrecht; his daughters, Kathryn Webber and Kristen (Andrew) Schmidt; his grandchildren, Samuel Flowers, and William Webber Molhoek; his brother, Philip (Mary) Albrecht; his niece, Amanda (Chad Kuney) Albrecht-Kuney; his great niece and nephew, Brianna and Alec; and other extended family. He is preceded in death by his niece, Heather Albrecht-Herrman; his parents; and other extended family.
