Debra's Obituary
Debra Lynn (Boswell) Zellner, 62, gained her angel wings in the morning hours on September 23, 2023, peacefully in her sleep at home. After fighting a long battle with cancer, God said it was enough and told her it is ok to walk away from the battle and come home, and she did.
Debra recently moved back to her home state of Michigan.
She leaves behind her four children, Eric P. Boswell, Autumn (Peter) Fisher, Amber Turbeville and Amy Turbeville; three granddaughters and six grandsons, Preston, Gregory, Lil Eric, Riley, Rachel, Angel, Sophia, Phoenix and Legend, along with three great-grandchildren. Also, her dear friend, Barb (Hutsell) Kelly & family; one brother, Gerry James and several nieces and nephews.
Debra loved spending time with her family. She was a very kind hearted person and she would give you her last dollar if you needed it. She always thought of others before herself and never judged anyone. Debra was a hard worker all of her life and always made sure her children were taken care of.
She is greatly missed already and will always hold a special place in our hearts. As she always said, “later”, so it isn’t goodbye, it’s “see you later”.
Debra was preceded in death by her mom and stepdad, Lois E. and George Freeman; sisters, Martha Lambrecht and Betty Arnold.
Please join us in celebrating the life of “Deb” with her family and close friends on October 14, 2023 at 3:30 at The Twelve Corners General Baptist Church, 3207 E. Euclid, Benton Harbor, MI 49022.
